Details:
Object/Date: 88P/Howell @ 2020 November 3, 10:00 UT Description: Comet 88P/Howell imaged on November 3, 2020, still over the Milky Way in Sagittarius, although in a less dense area than days ago. Comet continues receding and its coma has reduced in angular size to 4 arc minutes. The lower stellar density also seems to show a small tail to the east (below). A light diffraction at the top draw attention, caused by the magnitude 2 star named Nunki (Sigma Sagittarii) which is half a degree from the field upper edge.
