Details:
Another image taken Nov 4 showing a better view on the limb darkening effect. Mars near infrared image at 685nm. Taken with 10 inch F4,8 Newtonian secondary focus with QHY5 5L-11 camera. Syrtis Major is prominent. Also prominent is a darkening of the limb at the opposite side of the planet phase effect, visible well in a high contrast processing.
