Jimi Hendrix (1942-1970) was an American musician who came to fame with his band, the Jimi Hendrix Experience, in the late 60's. Considered the father of electric Rock'n'Roll, his innovative guitar playing and energetic live shows revolutionized the genre and continue to inspire musicians to this day.
