What a night under the Aurora! Or I should rather say what a late afternoon! Since we moved our clocks backwards last weekend, sunset here at 70°N is at 3.45 PM so when I looked outside at 5.00 PM, there was already a nice green band in the sky. I immediately got dressed and rushed the the river bank, where soon after the Auroras exploded in green and then bright and fast moving purple fringes. After many days of clouds, this was a very welcome afternoon treat! I also filmed this display in real colors and real speed, I hope it is OK to share the link too: https://vimeo.com/473193668
