Details:
Yesterday a new sunspot appeared on the surface of the sun, it was growing rapidly and today it has already become the largest sunspot of the new solar cycle 25. It is made up of about a dozen dark cores distributed over 100,000 km on the surface of the sun.
The photograph was taken today, Tuesday, October 27 at 12:43 pm (UT)
To capture this image I used a 180 mm Sky Watcher Maksutov Cassegrain telescope with a Baader astrosolar film OD 3.8 and ZWO ASI 290 MM camera.
