Details:
On Saturday night, around 40 minutes after the sunset the new Moon was slowly setting into the Pacific. But there was something else that attracted my attention, namely a beautiful afterglow on the western horizon. I believe that the afterglow was caused by stratospheric aerosol, but what kind of aerosol it was? Was it result of wildfires raging all around, or it was caused by something else?
