Here is a Mars image I took from 10/14/2020 compared to a Mars image I took back in 2005. Both images were one Mars opposition past a parhelic opposition, so are roughly comparable. I suspect the difference in dark features between the two is because the recent global dust storm covered some and uncovered others. 2020 image taken with a 10-inch reflector and DMK 21AU618.AS mono camera (RGB). 2005 image taken with a 10-inch reflector and a Philips ToUcam 740 color camera.
