Details:
Hi Tony, this is planet Mars rising over the tree tops at Davagh Forest in N. Ireland where the new OM dark sky observatory and park has been constructed. Broken cloud and an Ely breeze introduced falling ice crystals which produced these brief martian pillars during this simple exposure. 50mm F/1.8 lens 7 sec exposure ISO1600 Canon 600d.
