Details:
Compilation of Mars images captured in September before its closest approach to Earth. Those 4 photos cover altogether the whole planet surface. All the pictures have been obtained with the same telescope and camera setup: a C8 + Barlow X2 + ADC and a ZWO ASI224MC camera. It was very interesting to compare the visible details with my old copy of the map of Mars published in 1973 by National Geographic based on Mariner missions observations.
