Thanks to Sam a member of ASPB for the reminder. As soon as I went outside I spotted the Moon and Mars through a thin layer of clouds [about 23:55 EDT]. I decided to take a handheld shot because the sky was not favorable. I'm glad I did. It completely clouded over.
