Details:
In Donegal we are lucky enough to still have locations around the county that can give us almost unspoilt views of the night sky and for me been an astrophotographer I am extremely lucky to be able to say I captured this from my backyard. I didn't actually plan to be standing outside at 2am last night taking this image but it would have been a sin not too. One important thing to note on this image, if you look at my head and shoulders you can see faint light source from above casting shadows this is the light of the Milkyway last night it was that bright. Background Stars tracked, ISO 1600, 43 seconds @ F2.8, 50mm Nikkor lens Foreground > ISO 1250, 30 seconds @ F2.8 50mm Nikkor lens. Captured > 19th August 2020, time 2:00am. Location > Ballintra, Co Donegal
