The sky doesn't get any more amazing than this! This was the dawn sky scene on the morning of July 5, from southern Alberta when we also enjoyed an outbreak of noctilucent clouds at dawn with Comet NEOWISE. The images show: - bright Comet NEOWISE - four planets (Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn), - the setting Full Moon, - and a sky filled with the most extensive display of noctilucent clouds I have seen in many years. They grew to extend past the zenith into the west. Oh, and at one point the ISS put in an appearance as a bonus! I hope the astronauts were up and watching the comet and NLCs as well! The comet shot is a close up with a 280mm telephoto; the other shots are panoramas with the 50mm, 35mm and 14mm lenses. I had to keep switching to a wider lens as the NLCs expanded to fill the sky!
