Imagine my surprise after submitting some photos from a spectacular display of NLC's, I am going to bed at 0300 hrs and look out the window and lo and behold the NLC's are out again. I decided to drive to a site where I could get the city of Calgary as a foreground. On arrival I was amazed at how more defined the structures were and how far they extended above the horizon, by 0400 they were 50 degrees above the horizon wow!
