Details:
I've been following Venus since January and in May began a sequence of images of the crescent. Today I have concluded my sequence by grabbing the faint non-crescent arc of the atmosphere to form the planet's full atmospheric ring. The last time I was able to capture this rare event was Just before the 2012 transit of Venus, from Svalbard!
