Details:
C/2020 F8 (Swan) continues to brighten. This morning (April 30) the comet achieved magnitude 5.3 and was visible to the unaided eye with a 1/2˚ tail. My wife Deborah also easily sighted it with her unaided eyes. Through 8x42 binoculars the tail stretches about 3˚, as it does in exposures, as shown here with a 50-mm lens (EFL 80mm).
