Details:
Our nights are getting really short here in Utjsoki at nearly 70°N, but we still have a few hours of complete darkness to enjoy the northern lights. Tonight the sky became clear after midnight, and it was no exception again: the northern lights made a remarkable appearance, sometimes above the southern horizon, fuelled by the negative orientation of the Bz. I decided to work on my cardio tonight and hike up a hill for a different point of view from my other pictures. What a beautiful view from there on the Teno River, with Norway lying on the opposite side of the river. Oh, and do you see Venus very, very close to the Pleiades on one of the pictures?
