Details:
Woke up early to some strange sounds in my house, only to be greeted by this very old, 27.8 day old Moon. The sky was a beautiful series of pastel colors and the moon was only 3.5% illuminated. Mt. Lemmon is located below the moon and to the left, and looking carefully, you can see a Cell/communication tower, where the observatories are located. 40 minutes after image was taken, I needed binoculars to view the Moon, as it was no longer a visual object, lost in the rising Sun's glare.
