Details:
Friday, the thirteen was a hot, calm day in San Francisco. The horizon was relatively clear and there were mirages of the ships and distant lands all over it. I started filming when the sun paused just above a duct. Then while the upper portion of the sun seemed to stay still, miraged images of the sun started to appear inside the duct. The shapes of the miraged sun were changing from a mushroom shape to a rectangular shape. The sunset ended with a high (above the duct) green flash. The last miraged image of the sun melted into the sunset sky more than 2 minutes after the sunset time. If there were no atmospheric extinction, I probably would have been able to see the miraged sun for another few minutes. The images are screenshots from the video I filmed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV2edDDY8ZM
