The outbreak continues. I was waiting for it last night. I shot a time lapse that can be found at the Youtube address above. The sequence was shot from 9:35 to 10:45 Pacific time. Canon 80D with Tonkina 12-24 F4 AT-X Pro lens set to 15mm. Mountains at bottom of shot are Mount Adams (Closest) and Rainier in Washington. Can anyone tell me...Starting at about the 15 second mark in the video a line starts wiping out the NLC's in the lower right quarter of the video. Is it just the setting sun no longer illuminating the NLC's or something else. It is not linear along 'wave' front and it comes from the north East not South East to North west as I would expect if it were the sun setting . Is it just a difference in the altitude of the NLCs losing illumination?. Time Lapse Link on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEk9KVWG_N4

I noticed some strange things last night too, as the clouds lost illumination they created almost a rainbow at one point
