Details:
Made sure I got a front window seat on my flight from NJ to Glasgow, Scotland to see if I could see and photograph any unexpected aurora. No aurora, but I was pleasantly surprised by a 2 hour viewing of my first NLC's which started just NE of Newfoundland from 37,000'
