Details:
An impressive display of noctilucent clouds was also visible in northern Germany on July 2nd/3rd beginning in the late evening hours and lasting all the way into the morning.
They were brightest in the morning but both in the evening and in the morning they ranged all the way from the zenith down to the horizon, which you can also see in this short timelapse movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBvxzueI7KU
Their horizontal extent in the morning was so broad that they didn't even fit into my 170-degree fisheye lens (last image).
What was quite interesting about them was that they stayed visible until the sun had risen to almost 3 degrees below the horizon, which is now the second time in a year I could observe that they stayed a lot longer than they "should" according to relevant literature.
If desired I can provide raw photo material to prove it.
