Details:
Aldebaran slipped behind the Moon's limb at 9:53pm tonight as seen from my location in Marion, Iowa. Gusty winds prevented me from imaging with my larger telescope. As such, sitting outside with my spotting scope was the best I could do. This image shows Aldebaran sitting on the Moon's limb just 15 seconds before disappearance.
Image captured with a Canon 60Da and 400mm FL refractor at f/5. ISO 500, Exposure time 0.8sec.
