Another great night in Abisko! Tonight my wife and I were fortunate enough to spend an amazing night under the auroras with our family from the south of Sweden. Our group of ten traveled over the frozen surface of Lake Torneträsk to a teepee owned by our friend Roger at Activities in Abisko. We started a small fire as the Sun went down and were almost immediately treated to a calm green aurora band over the teepee. As the night sky grew darker the auroras developed into a full fledged aurora storm with powerful green lights and a touch of red. What a great way to spend an evening with friends and family! It is hard to believe that the aurora season will be over in just over a month :(
