Details:
I was excited to see some activity on the Sun late yesterday afternoon, with a couple of very active wispy prominences ejecting from the eastern edge of the solar limb…maybe there’s another sunspot arriving soon :-) The two sunspots AR2625 & 2626 are still very small as they rotate toward the centre on the Sun and they don’t seem to be doing anything exciting as yet…. Images taken with my Lunt 60mm solar telescope and a Canon 700D camera with a 2x Barlow lens attached. This is a composite image…one exposure for the disc (exposure 1/200th second and ISO200), and another image with longer exposure (1/25th second and ISO400) for the prominence and combined in PS CS4.
