Details:
This was an unprecedented (for this location) fourth appearance of noctilucent clouds in seven days. It might have been more, but it has been quite cloudy recently. This was a weak display, visible for about an hour before it clouded over. Also visible in the photo is a plane coming in to land at Newcastle Airport, and a helicopter disappearing out of shot.
