On the evening of June 30, 2016 I faithfully checked the spaceweather.com Aim daisy too see that the NLC's were forming over North America once again. I decided to chance it even though the weather was iffy, and sure enough once I arrived at the Big Hill off Highway 766, the clouds started to roll in, undaunted I decided to wait it out and promptly fell asleep in my Jeep. Something woke me up and I looked to the Northwest and saw a faint green glow, it was 12:30 am July 01, 2016, wow I thought to myself space fireworks for Canada's birthday. I started to get busy setting up my cameras and was awarded for my patience by a auroral and an NLC show. Here are some of the images, and the movie of the aurora https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyiaoQvvl5M
