I noticed on Matti Helins photo http://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=126925&PHPSESSID=9ef6g47v1oevfj2bgr0j3bebi7
that I observed the same cloud formation over Finland but I was standing i Sweden about 500 km away in Nyköping south of Stockholm. The clouds were only about 10 degrees over the horizon as seen from here.
