Details:
I woke up early to catch the sun and Mercury rising with cactus silhouettes in front of them. I kept going farther and father up Sabino Canyon in Tucson, AZ, and probably saw a dozen sunrises! I got a number of good shots, but this was the last one and the best. Canon T3i, 70-300mm lens, f/8, ISO200, 1/500s exposure.

Yes, very nice! The sun is just finally peaking through the clouds here in E. Kansas, just 8 minutes after the end of the transit (!!!) . . . and severe weather may be here soon. All in all, a perfect day! ;-)
