Details:
A few snaps i've taken today of today's Mercury Transit of the Sun from the Peak District, UK. It was an all-day even with first contact at 12:12pm, and lasting up until 19:42pm. Weather conditions have been co-operative for this 2016 Mercury Transit, but with the next opportunity in November 2019 the UK might not be so lucky. Of interest today aside from Mercury has been the sunspot group '2542' which has been giving Aurora activity to high-latitude regions.
