For me also this was the second time, this year, I saw NLC in Nijmegen, Netherlands. (See the beautiful pictures of Rayann Elzein July 10, further on this site!) I had no time earlier to post: because of work, plus many of my pictures are blurred! :( (I had to find the best picture, try to fix the others, but unfortunately...) Friday, July 10th, i saw a first ripple around 23:10, when i was on my balcony. Thrilled as i was, i quickly grabbed my stuff, and drove a mile or 2 with my car. (Earlier that week, 6 july, i was lucky to be with my friend, who lives on the fifth floor in the city, and has a great view!) So, finally, i ended on a beautiful spot in a meadow, and saw that the lines were becoming brighter and more structured! Wow! This looked promising and I had time to 'play' with the camera settings. ;) And which i did. ;) Sadly, suddenly I heard noises and I realized I was all alone in the middle of nowhere! Young people were coming by...and for the second time.. Through my nervousness, the instability of the ground, the camera cord, (i've done the cord back to my neck, I was afraid they would steal my stuff) I do not know what it was... But unfortunately there are many pictures blurred! The next time I ask someone to come along with me! After all: the view was amazing!!! :-) 7/1 f4 ISO 1600
