Details:
A nice showing of Noctilucent Clouds manifested in the skies over N. Ireland before 01.00 UT last night spanning 120 degrees of sky. Although the display was subtle and of type 3 brightness it still was a pleasant sight in the form of silvery-blue ghostly apparitions of veil and banded structures against the twilight summer sky complimented by an isolated house in the Maghera countryside in the foreground. I eagerly await the complex displays which will no doubt appear in our skies soon.
