Details:
What a surprise to see that yesterday’s huge prominence was still in action, but this time it was sprouting out all along the eastern limb. There was also a very long thin ejection prominence shooting out from the western edge…Wow…our Star is sure putting on a wonderful show at the moment :-) The H-alpha images were taken with a Lunt 80mm solar telescope and a Canon 700D camera. The colour image is a composite of two images, one to capture the solar disc and the other one to capture the faint prominences. The monochrome image is one set of images stacked in Registack6 and lightly processed in PS CS4. (The eastern limb is to the left hand bottom and the western limb is to the right hand top of the images)
