Details:
I went to one of my favorite locations around Rovaniemi – a a hill with a great view not far from city center to shoot sunset photos and videos. The conditions were freezing -20°C, but I was rewarded with this extraordinary view: a laser-like sun beam with a sun halo on the sides that had some of the colors of the rainbow! I believe this was caused by many icy particles in the air. I shot photos, videos and a timelapse of this amazing event. This happened just after noon, around 1.30 PM and the sun doesn't rise much higher at Arctic Circle at this time of the Air.
