Details:
The aurora forecast was disappointing tonight, but the weather forecast predicted clear sky. The evening started out with some auroras, which fortunately increased and even were kind enough to last for hours. The auroras appeared like a beautiful moving bridge between east and west. I captured pictures until my camera battery turned flat. My poor fingers had to exchange it with a loaded one - that was a really cold experience for them.
