Well, made a quick observation last night of the Uranus occultation by Moon. I just noted Uranus at 2358 UT close to the
west limb and very difficult because of the Moon's altitude and turbulence plus glare. I lost it at close to 0000 UT, by
0040 UT I did not see the full reappearance, but only after a bit did I see the planet.
I attach an image I took with my Canon XSi with a T-adapter at prime focus of my C8, shot at 1/6 sec, f/5.6, 800 ISO.
Focused with the live view... forgot all about it ! ... then used the timer locked mirror up and fired the exposure.
Some glare was present but Uranus came out this image at 0051 UT.
